Seeking a market for my collage work

I'd like to find a market for my collage work. I currently make notecards and sell them locally, but would love to tap into the world market of 2d imagery.

If anyone has contacts in this market, please let me know!

Entering the world of the Blacksmith

For two days this week I took Blacksmithing 101 at www.whitehartforge.com with Dan Klug, Blacksmith at his forge in Oregon.

I had wanted to learn how to blacksmith for years....but never was able to dive right in due to fears, opportunities and timing. I reached a point recently in my work where I felt I had reached the end of a road I had been traveling on, quite safely for a long time----it was time to leap and the time was NOW!

I was repeating myself in my work....locked into a way of working that I was becoming bored with. I needed to be able to work with hot metal and creat work that has a deeper, more alchemical energy to it.

I knew that working the forge and connecting with that process would also get me deeper into my own power and creativity; the beginning of a new phase of my work, my self, my spirit.

I am humbled by the craft---and looking forward to honing my skills.

B.

P.S. I also want to say what and incredible teacher Dan is....so very patient, encouraging and fun....if you want to be challenged, learn a ton and go home and start your own gig, take a class!
